Fundraising Tips

While past experience makes us confident that it's easy to sell your ornaments, a little planning can turn them into a super successful fundraiser that can contribute significantly to a church activity or special project on an ongoing annual basis. Some of the following ideas may help you develop a sales strategy... while all may not be appropriate for every church, we'd be happy to work with you on developing a strategy that will be successful. By ordering early we'll have plenty of time to help you develop a plan.

• Announcements or "ads" in your bulletin for 6-8 weeks preceding delivery of your ornaments has proved successful. We'll provide graphics and copy if needed.
• Post fliers prominently in church buildings... Sunday School classrooms, bulletin boards, etc.
• Offer special prices to folks that pre-order or order multiples. Our church fundraisers make great gifts for members who have left the area.
• Emphasize the special project for which the proceeds will be used... choir robes, foreign missions, etc.
• If you take delivery at Christmas, display the ornaments on a Christmas Tree in a prominent area.
• If you think you may want to use ornaments as an annual fund raiser, let people know it the first year. Many people enjoy collecting and will be inclined to want the first of a series.
• If your church has an annual bazaar in late summer or fall, consider it a great time to start taking orders.
